This policy explains what information Show Off collects, why, and how it's used.
Your display name, username, bio, profession, achievements, and social links are visible to others if your profile is set to Public. If set to Private, your profile link shows "User not available" to anyone outside the app; it remains visible to you and to other logged-in Show Off users browsing inside the app.
Your data is stored in a secured database. Passwords are never stored — authentication happens through Google. We use standard safeguards including input validation, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls.
Deleting your account immediately deactivates your profile and removes it from public view. Your username enters a cooldown period before it can be reused by anyone, including you.
Show Off is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we learn an account belongs to a user under 13, we will deactivate it.
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
You can edit or delete your data at any time via Settings, or contact us directly for help with your data.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
